Established in 1991, the Fergana Medical Institute of Public Health (FMIPH) is one of Uzbekistan's leading government medical institutions dedicated to excellence in medical education, scientific research, and public healthcare. The institute evolved from the medical faculty of Fergana State University and was later reorganized under the Ministry of Health to strengthen medical education and healthcare services in the Fergana Valley.
